Registering your work
Several members ask whether you can register ideas. The answer is NO. You own the form of your work -- the arrangement of words, silver crystals or whatever. You do not need to register this either. But if you expect a conflict over whether you produced the work first, you can register it with the Company of Stationers. They charge individuals £35.25 per title -- and the title can be "Jo Blow's complete works 1995".
