OUR MAN on a quick trip into Beijing and out was impressed to find the hotel bookshop prominently displaying, among the guide books and casual reading, a weightier volume titled Laws and Regulations of Intellectual Property Rights of the People's Republic of China - dual language, 700 pages, a snip at £35, and just the kind of thing a journalist with jet-lag insomnia appreciates.
