Street-wisdom meeting

A MEETING for photographers on street-law is being organised. It will cover the basics of the law, in plain English stories. Perhaps more importantly, we'll provide tips on how to deal with solicitors if necessary, with special reference to the use of what grammarians call "the subjunctive mood". Crucially: "Were it to be the case that there were a photographer with an unknown number of rolls of film, and were it to be the case that some of these were about to have disappeared..."

The meeting is on Monday 26 July, 7pm at the University of London Union, Malet Street. Speakers will include highly experienced photographers with excellent acquittal and compensation rates. The NUJ's new solicitors, Thompsons, have also been invited to hear how it is.
