British journalism and racism

The climate of racial injustice that British journalists are creating at present - especially against the Muslim community - concerns me. I live in Milton Keynes and the local press is leading a subtle campaign against Asians living in the city.

This certainly occurred in Oldham and other Northern cities. At a national level white journalists seem intent on picking hotheads in the Asian community and publishing their views. Shame they don't go down to a local pub and hear some of the views I hear every day about the Asian community and publish them. This is typical of a selective right wing-press. It seems to me that there are very few non-right-wing journalists in this country. For every Brian Reade there seems to be ten Sue Carrols, Peter Hitchens or Keith Waterhouses.

It is a sad and dangerous time especially for the truth.
