Does age matter?
We've all heard stories of 40-pluses being refused full-time employment because they are "too old". But does this affect freelances too? Anecdotal evidence suggests that employers like the idea of offices filled up with bright young things, but don't mind the occasional old crock freelancing for them from a safe distance - or even occasionally working in-house as a casual.
