NUJ Women's Conference

The NUJ's Women's Conference on Saturday 28 February focuses on images of women in the media, and within the Union. Have efforts to counter sexist reporting in the past 30 years produced results, or are sterotypes just more subtle these days?

Speakers include Kat Banyard of the Fawcett Society, NUJ Deputy General Secretary Michelle Stanistreet, Ceri Hayes of Womankind, Equity equality officer Max Beckmann and speakers from Trades Union Congress (TUC). It's at the NUJ HQ at Headland House. For more details and to register, email Joanne Frost at the NUJ.
