Appeal for photos

ANY PROPER photographers who find themselves (with or without a camera such as the 1839 model Dageurreotype on the right) near the Patents County Court Small Claims Track in Rolls Building, off Fetter Lane, London EC4A 1NL - we'd love a photo to illustrate inevitable Freelance stories about it. The same goes for Google's soon-to-be-completed King's Cross HQ ("Zone A", north of the King's Cross station concourse, east of King's Boulevard.)

And if you should find yourself in Wilmslow, Cheshire, a photo of the Information Commissioner's Office, Water Lane SK9 5AF, is bound to find a use. In Tunbridge Wells you'll find the NLA Media Access, formerly the Newspaper Licensing Agency (Church Road TN1 1NL); their London office is on the first floor of 16 New Bridge Street EC4V 6AG.

While we regret having no budget for images, an Indy editor did ring us in a panic a few years back looking to buy a photo that had been in the Freelance. And if we're desperate for images of these particular places, somebody with a budget is too, and likely to find them among our web pages via the "image search" page of a certain engine for things sought.

The NUJ is appealing for "photographs of journalists at work" from the 1940s to 1970s, for union recruitment campaign materials. Please email:
