Courses for freelances in Manchester

THE NUJ is presenting its popular "Getting Started" and "Pitch & Deal" courses for freelances - in Manchester. The first is extremely useful to those who are moving from staff to freelance work as well as those who are starting in journalism as freelances. The second - to all freelances!

Friday 22 May: 10am-4.30pm, Getting Started As A Freelance. Venue: NUJ North and Midlands Office, 12th floor, 111 Piccadilly, Manchester M2 2HY Course leaders: Phil Sutcliffe and Louise Bolotin.

Saturday 23 May 23: 10am-4.30pm, Pitch & Deal. Venue: Friends' Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NS Course leaders: Phil Sutcliffe and Louise Bolotin.

Saturday 20 June: 9.30am-4.30pm, Improve Your Feature Writing. Venue: Friends' Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NS Course leader: Judi Goodwin
