Experience in working within a committee structure is essential as is an ability to organise and co-ordinate the distribution of advice and information to members. Other areas of responsibility include the recruitment of new members and lobbying and campaigning on key policy issues. Knowledge of electronic media technologies and e-mail literacy is desirable.
