Investment fund (generically) is, as far as we know, purely an investment company: it holds stakes in media owners but doesn't publish or broadcast anything itself.

This is merely a holding link for shareholdings by banks, investment funds, pension funds and so forth. Some of these holdings may be held on behalf of interested parties with policy influence. Most are held on the funds' own acccount - and they have no media policy beside maximising return on investment. (Ouch! Sorry about the grammar below.)
